Dive Sites

Legend
Novice Recreational These sites are within the depth limits of recreational diving. Novice sites are great for divers of all skill levels. They are almost always divable. Examples include the Breakwater and MacAbee. Intermediate sites are deeper than 60 feet and/or are more challenging sites. Examples include Coral Street and Monastery. They are still suitable for recreational divers. Advanced Open Water training, recent dive experience, and thorough dive planning are highly recommended. Difficult sites are deeper than 100 feet and/or are extremely challenging sites. Advanced Open Water training, recent dive experience, and thorough dive planning are necessary. Recreational Trimix training is highly recommended. Examples include Ballbuster and Jaw Dropper.

Technical These sites are beyond the depth limits of recreational diving. Technical dive training, thorough dive planning, redundant gear, and staged decompression are required. A high level of overall dive and recency of dive experience is recommended. Advanced technical sites require the use of multiple decompression gasses and other advanced techniques. Surface support and in-water support teams are highly recommended.
